Request Account Deletion

⚠️ Important: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, including orders, favorites, reviews, and profile information, will be permanently deleted.
How to Delete Your Account
Method 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)
The easiest way to delete your account is directly from the Sahla app:
- Open the Sahla app on your device
- Go to Profile → Edit Profile
- Scroll down to "Delete Account"
- Follow the confirmation prompts
- Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted
Method 2: Request Deletion via Email
If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email:
Email: privacy@sahla-delivery.com
Subject: Account Deletion Request
Include in your email:
- Your full name
- Email address associated with your account
- Phone number associated with your account
- Confirmation that you want to delete your account
We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion via email.
What Gets Deleted?
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone, date of birth)
- Your order history
- Your favorites and preferences
- Your reviews and ratings
- Your delivery addresses
- All other account-related data
Note: Some data may be retained for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes as required by law (e.g., financial records for tax purposes).
Data Retention
We may retain certain information for legal and regulatory purposes:
- Order History: Retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes
- Payment Records: Retained as required by financial regulations
- Legal Records: Retained if required by law or court order
All other personal data will be deleted or anonymized within 30 days of your deletion request.
